Computer programs are employed as analysis tools in design test and development processes providing savings in time and money. Two NASA computer programs are used daily in design of turbomachinery by Delaval Turbine Division. The company uses NASA split interpolation routine for analysis of turbine blade vibration and the performance of compressors and condensers. Second program analyzes turbine rotor response and produces graphs for project reports. NASA computer programs are used extensively in the design of industrial equipment.
